Why This TOTK Dungeon Is One Of The Zelda Series' Best
TOTK's dungeons have received a mixed reception from fans, but at least one of them is underrated and deserves to be viewed alongside the classics.
The Breath of the Wild era ushered in a new paradigm for The Legend of Zelda series, for better or worse. In terms of graphics, exploration, and controls, BOTW and Tears of the Kingdom are miles away from any previous Zelda titles, and it's not even close. However, there are ways that the Wild Era has generally been seen as a step backward for fans, and one of the biggest ways is in the dungeons. Dungeons have always been an integral part of the Zelda experience, but BOTW and TOTK have generally valued them less in favor of building up the greater open world. There is one dungeon in the Wild Era, however, that stands out from the rest, and that's TOTK's Lightning Temple.
