Drop Bear Bytes debut game Broken Roads feels like a throwback to post-apocalyptic RPGs of the past, yet it falls short of being perfect.
Whether its through critically acclaimed franchises like Fallout, zombie games like Project Zomboid, or RPG shooters like Stalker, players have been treated to a wide assortment of apocalyptic experiences. And now, indie studio Drop Bear Bytes is throwing its hat into the ring with its debut title Broken Roads, which ultimately proves to be an intriguing experience with a few rougher edges.
