Star Wars includes many dark characters, but not all of them are swayed by the Dark Side but through tragedy and other evils.
Darkness is integral to the DNA of Star Wars, woven into characters to give them conflicted purposes and to constantly battle with the light within them. These Star Wars characters have often shown a darkness, whether it can be understood, redeemed, or entirely abhorrent, they’re important to the stories of the galaxy far, far away, and the battle of the Dark Side and the Light Side doesn’t just exist within the Jedi and Sith.
