Ghost in the Shell Sequel Movie Returns With Beautiful New Remaster
Mamoru Oshii's underrated sequel to the genre-defining classic Ghost in the Shell is coming to theaters for a limited-time engagement.
Ghost in the Shell has been a definitive franchise in crafting an elegant, lofty vision of a cyberpunk dystopia, and fans will soon get a chance to return thanks to a 4K remaster of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. Releasing as a celebration of twenty years since the film by Mamoru Oshii first released in 2004, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence's 4K remaster will be available in American theaters on June 23-24 & 26, 2024.
