Fallout 5 Needs To Go Back To Basics
It's still years away, but Fallout 5 needs to scale back its ambition.

Bethesda Game Studios missed the mark with Starfield. Returning to the silent protagonist of Fallout 3 and Skyrim, it strove to push the medium forward with an ambitious world that didnt span a single planet, but thousands of them. Putting aside the initial hopes for this ill-fated game, the final product was a compartmentalised disappointment that only served to showcase precisely how dated the BGS formula had become. But that doesnt mean there isnt still life in it yet, it just needs to be presented and updated in the correct ways.
