The Poison-Type has been around in Pokémon since the beginning for Red, Green, and Blue, but it continues to be overlooked and categorized as a mediocre typing. Poison is generally feared as a status affliction and nothing more, but the type deserves respect beyond this. While Poison types are considered dangerous and are often seen accompanying villainous organizations across the Pokémon games and anime, they do have plenty to offer any trainer.
